JAN HANSEN
“Tsuyu”
The act of moving back and forth between Tokyo and Onishi, and their opposing characteristics, forms the premise of the exhibition. Growth and decline of cities and it´s population are compared to the growth of plants, and the cyclical nature of the rainy season. The works form a non sequential open-ended narrative, informed by ideas of a contemporary human condition, positioned between nature and technology.
