Lior Shamriz studied at the Jerusalem Sam Spiegel film school and at the Berlin University of Arts where he received his degree. He was a DAAD scholar at CalArts, USA and taught film at the China Art Academy Hangzhou, Berlin University of Arts and other places. His films were shown in over a 100 international film festivals, including the Berlin Film Festival (2010,13,15), Oberhausen (3 prizes, 6 films), MoMA (top 10 film of the year 2008 according to the curators), nominated to the Preis der Nationalgalerie, and more.
