Carissa Heinrichs received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Intermedia Art from Arizona State University in 2014. After graduating, she worked as a fashion product photographer for an online retail company, wrote and received a grant to fund a year of public programming for Gallery 224’s new darkroom. She completed a year-long residency with this gallery, working as assistant project director, and is now pursuing a Master of Fine Arts at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
